RSHS ALUMNI SCHOLARSHIP
The RSHS Alumni Scholarship Fund was established in 1989.
The Class of 1939, at their 50th reunion (1989), started the Alumni Scholarship award.
Scholarships are awarded annually for graduates to continue their education.
Awards are based primarily on need, however, recipients
must have relatives that previously graduated from Rising Sun High School.
The $$$ value of these scholarships varies each year based on the amount
of donations received prior to the annual Alumni Banquet.
If you would like to contribute to this fund and will be attending the
annual banquet, please send your donation with your banquet reservation.
If you will not be attending the banquet, please send your donation separately.

ROSSER SCHOLARSHIP
The Rosser Scholarship, in memory of Thomas & Mary Rosser, was originally
established in 2002 by their daughter, Marcy Rosser Crowley (Class of 1976).
As a commitment to "giving back to the community," Marcy personally
donated $1,000 each year from 2002-2022 (for a Total of $21,000!)
In 2023, Marcy's brother, Thomas Rosser, Jr. (Class of 1972), joined the
funding activity and the two siblings are now donating $10,000 each year!!!
Starting in 2023, two (2) $5,000 Rosser Scholarships were awarded to
deserving seniors, and this will be the new standard going forward!!
The Rosser Scholarships are also based on need, however, there is no
familial requirement to receive scholarship funds.
Total Rosser Scholarships awarded to date:
25 Scholarships = $41,000!
All scholarship donations are greatly appreciated.
